Courtney Erickson Creative

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Courtney. She had a beautiful imagination and a gift for creative art. One day, a teacher asked her a common question…
“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
She thought about her bookshelf and all the beautiful stories and illustrations that filled it.
“When I grow up, I want to be a Children’s Book Author and illustrator.”
Well, after years of hard work, guess what?
She is now a published children’s book author & illustrator!
Courtney lives in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. She is employed at Southern New Hampshire University while completing her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Media Arts with a minor in Creative Writing. Courtney is the self-published author and illustrator of The Loon of Ayers Lake, a children’s book that is set in a local lake in New Hampshire for readers ages 4 to 8. She plans to continue her self-publishing journey by creating children’s fiction and poetry that celebrate the joy and wonder of nature, with stories inspired by New England’s landscapes, communities, and destinations. She is currently drafting a children’s book called The First Platypus and a series called Zoe Stories, which follows Zoe and her family on many adventures that lead to meaningful life lessons. Visit her Works-In-Progress page for details.
